FAQ
- Does ReceiveFlow work on my phone?
- Yes. Receiving works in the browser on any phone or tablet — open a purchase order, tap the scan button, and use the camera to scan barcodes as stock arrives. No extra hardware or POS subscription required.
- Can I receive part of a shipment now and the rest later?
- Yes. Partial receiving is built in: enter or scan what arrived, receive it, and the PO stays open with the remaining quantities until everything is in.
- Which label printers are supported?
- Labels are generated as PDF in three stocks: Dymo 30334 (2.25×1.25"), thermal 2×1", and thermal 2.25×1.25". Any printer that can print these PDF sizes works, including Dymo and Zebra label printers and regular sheet printers.
- Does receiving update my Shopify inventory?
- Yes. When you confirm a receipt, the received quantities are written back to your Shopify inventory at your store's location automatically.
- Can I get my data out?
- Always. Every purchase order can be exported to CSV with one click, on every plan including Free. If you uninstall, all your data is permanently deleted per our privacy policy.
- Does ReceiveFlow access my customers' data?
- No. The app only requests product, inventory, and location scopes. It cannot read orders or customer information at all.
- How do trials and billing work?
- Paid plans (Starter $15/mo, Pro $29/mo) have a 14-day free trial and are billed through Shopify's own billing system — they appear on your regular Shopify invoice. Cancel anytime from the app's Pricing page.
Feature requests
ReceiveFlow is actively developed and prioritized by merchant feedback. If something in your receiving workflow is missing, email the details to receiveflowapp@gmail.com — concrete examples (what you receive, how many SKUs, what printer) make it much more likely to ship fast.
