If your store uses Stocky for purchase orders, mobile receiving, and label printing, you need a replacement before the shutdown date. ReceiveFlow covers all three: build purchase orders, receive stock on any phone or tablet, and print barcode & price labels as you receive.

Shopify is retiring Stocky, its stock-management app, on August 31, 2026.
Some of Stocky's functionality is moving into Shopify's admin natively — Shopify's own migration path is to use these built-in purchase order and receiving features going forward.
Merchants who built their inbound-stock workflow around Stocky's receiving and label printing need to choose and set up a replacement before the deadline, so nothing breaks when Stocky is turned off.
Shopify's built-in admin tools and ReceiveFlow cover overlapping but different ground. Here's an honest comparison:
| Shopify built-in | ReceiveFlow | |
|---|---|---|
| PO creation | Yes, natively in Shopify admin | Yes, from your live catalog or CSV import (Starter/Pro) |
| Mobile receiving in browser | Yes, in Shopify admin | Yes, on any phone or tablet in the browser |
| Partial receiving | Yes, in Shopify admin | Yes, built in |
| Barcode scanning without POS Pro | Barcode scanning workflows are tied to POS Pro | Yes — camera scan, photo scan, keyboard-wedge scanner, or manual entry, no POS Pro needed |
| Label printing after receiving | Not part of Shopify admin | Yes, Dymo 30334 and thermal 2x1 / 2.25x1.25, generated as PDF |
| CSV import/export | Varies by workflow | Import on Starter/Pro; export free on every plan |
| Price | Included with your Shopify plan | Free (up to 3 open POs); Starter $15/mo; Pro $29/mo — 14-day trial on paid plans |
